We Win When You Win: Version A (Client) Victories

Tight deadlines. Thought-leadership opportunities. Large, one-time projects. These are just a few of the reasons an on-demand marketing agency can serve as an ace up your sleeve.

The ability to call upon a team of expert writers, copy editors, and designers at a moment’s notice can make all the difference when you need extra manpower. We’ve seen this play out time and again with our clients. Whether we’ve been integrated as part of their team or working on an “as needed” basis, we’ve been able to help content marketing managers shine when the stakes are high and the opportunity is ripe.

Three Thrilling Triumphs: Real-World Success Stories

1. Organic Search Bliss

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of showing up at the top of a Google search results page, especially when it happens organically. But that was the pleasant surprise one of our clients got with a blog we wrote for them.

The client wanted to publish content that tied their products to a trending news topic. At the time, there was a lot of coverage devoted to the solar eclipse. However, they needed to publish quickly, or they would risk losing out on the timeliness of the topic. Their SEO expert conducted some research around keywords, and they passed it over to us.

We took it from there, using our in-depth knowledge of their products, tone, and style to craft an engaging piece that educated readers about the solar eclipse while subtly featuring our client. They loved what we wrote in such a short span of time. They were even more thrilled when the post appeared at the top of Google search results as people looked for information about the eclipse.

The win inspired them to make this approach of creating more timely content a formal part of their marketing strategy – and we were more than happy to help.

2. A Perfect Partnership

Strategic partnerships are a great way to build brand awareness and market saturation. One of our clients was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with one of the biggest names in tech (but we won’t name names) – and they needed a professional academic white paper detailing the technical specifications and benefits of this partnership.

We jumped at the chance to help our client solidify this valuable relationship. We dug into the documentation they shared with us and wrote a 16-page white paper detailing the advantages this new partnership will bring to their customers. But we didn’t stop there. We also designed the piece, using our client’s design templates while also adhering to their partner’s brand and logo guidelines.

The project had a firm deadline for a final deliverable, which we met. But the even better news is that the big-name partner had little to no change requests to the copy or the design, helping our client solidify and strengthen this new relationship.

3. Rapid Rebranding

An acquisition can be an exciting time in a company, but it also usually comes with a lot of extra work for the brand marketing team. And this was certainly the case when one of our long-time clients acquired a competitor.

This wasn’t the first time they had expanded, but in this instance the brand marketing team needed to reformat and rebrand 80 customer stories from the acquired company. As an added stressor, the acquired company’s site was being shut down in just a few weeks, and the entire project needed to be done in a few months.

We sat down, assessed the project, and mapped out a timeline. Within just a few days, we downloaded and saved all of the existing customer stories from the soon-to-be defunct website. Every week we delivered a half dozen rebranded customer stories, enabling our client to review them in manageable chunks.

The entire project was completed several weeks ahead of schedule, turning what could have been a high-stress situation for our client into a seamless migration of content.
